Our customers have a lot to say about this product...
“In 1985 I attended an international safety conference in Australia. It was there I learned about the Newfoundland dog and it’s amazing water rescue talent. Years later I am now a “Newfie” owner but “Rocky” (named after the rocky coast of Maine) does not like the water”. Canine Swim Safe flotation system has provided my beloved pet the ability and confidence to enter the water and recognize his aquatic talent.”
- John McMillan, President, McMillan Offshore Survival Training and US Representative to International Association for Safety and Survival Training.
“During the forty-four years of experience as a practicing veterinarian,
I can categorically say that this lateral canine flotation unit is one of an elite group of innovative, simple but highly effective, patented, life-saving devices to evolve in decades. Bravo!”
- Edward. E. Tindall, M.S., DVM
“During my practice as a veterinarian I have recommended to my clients
that they use good judgment in fitting canine life vests on their dogs whenever on or near water. I have cautioned them on the use of “vests” for small dogs with short legs since they lack lateral stability and tend to roll over and either aspirate water into their lungs or, if unattended, may drown. I’m pleased to see that there is a new and patented Canine Swim Safe product that is specifically designed to assure complete lateral stability, keeping your dog upright and thus preventing the risk of a dangerous roll-over. “
- Dr. Justin Blake, DVM, Blake Veterinary Hospital, Northport, Maine
“Cordelia Brown’s painful, enlarged, arthritic elbow makes it hard for her to
walk very far or to play. Swimming is her only option for aerobic exercise. Other floatation devices were helpful in increasing the duration of her swim sessions, but they were bulky along her sides which required her to point her elbows outward to clear the jacket. With her bad elbows, this caused her pain after her sessions. The Canine Swim Safe Vest supports her weight in the pool while still allowing her front legs to move naturally and allows her entire body to float and swim at a normal depth and position. She likes it!“
